Since 2021, the Palm Springs Gay Softball League has stood together with the City of Palm Springs’ Parks and Recreation department to create something truly magical. Breakfast with Santa is more than just a meal; it is a vibrant celebration of unity that welcomes children and their families to experience the joy of the holidays at no cost.
From the smell of a fresh hot breakfast to the creativity of gingerbread house stations and holiday crafts, every corner of the Palm Springs Pavilion is filled with festive spirit. Whether it’s sharing a laugh with The Grinch or listening to the harmony of carolers, this day is about creating smiles that last a lifetime. The true highlight arrives just before Christmas when Santa and Mrs. Claus make their grand appearance, helping every child choose a special toy to take home.

Our ability to uplift the community is powered by the incredible generosity of our sponsors. In 2025, a landmark donation from BMW and Porsche Palm Springs allowed us to host over 350 local children, ensuring every single one left with a memorable toy. Alongside the PS Softball Headquarters’ Winter Classic and our dedicated private donors, these contributions make the "impossible" possible.
We take our commitment to the community seriously: 100% of all donations are used directly to purchase toys for the children. When you donate, you aren't just giving a gift—you are providing a moment of pure pride and joy for a child in need.

Join Santa's Squad: Volunteer with Pride!
2026 marks our sixth year of bringing this enchanting event to life, and we need our dedicated "Santa Elves" to make it our best one yet! Whether you are a decorating pro or a master in the kitchen, there is a place for you on our team. Join us for a fun-filled weekend of service and spirit at the Palm Springs Pavilion:
Friday Prep (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Help us set the stage by decorating trees, organizing toys, and transforming the hall into a winter wonderland.
Saturday Event (Shifts from 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM): From serving a warm breakfast to helping kids pick out the perfect toy, your energy keeps the holiday magic moving.
What to Bring: Just your holiday cheer! We encourage everyone to wear their most festive attire (while keeping food safety in mind for our kitchen crew).
